IKASLAN

IKASLANIKASLAN is an association of 60 public vocational colleges in the Basque Country of Spain. It offers initial vocational for post-compulsory education students and continuing education for workers, the unemployed, and those threatened with unemployment. Many of the programs are modular and individually tailored to students based on labor market demand, The schools also emphasize entrepreneurship.

Ivy Tech Community College

IvyTechIvy Tech Community College, with 23 campuses across the state of Indiana, educates more than 110,000 students every year. It offers more than 150 programs and concentrations leading to degrees, certificates and certifications, and credits transfer to four-year schools throughout Indiana. Ivy Tech also offers distance learning and a special program for working adults.

Tampere College

TampereTampere College (Tampereen ammattiopisto) is a vocational college in the upper secondary level, located in in the city of Tampere and the municipality of Kuru, Finland. Tampere College is one of the largest vocational Colleges in Finland, and has developed good partnerships and implemented valuable projects within recent years. Tampere’s five Institutes (Hervanta Institute, Kuru Institute of Forestry, Pyynikki Institute, Tampere Institute of Commerce and Tampere Institute of Health Care) educate individuals who are able to work in changing work environments in the public or private sectors or to become entrepreneurs; are open to constant development and lifelong learning to improve their skills; are internationally-minded; and have a good environmental awareness.
